A quick glance at my website or at my youtube channel will reveal that I’m quite a BMW fanboy. Now I will admit that that’s true but what a lot of people don’t know about me is that there is a car brand that I love more than BMW. And that brand is called Porsche. I am a HUGE Porsche 911 fan but I pretty much like all the cars they produce.
I haven’t owned a Porsche so far because simply put, I can’t afford one 🙂 At the time I’ve bought my BMW M2, I was very interested in the 718 Cayman S, which I was lucky enough to drive and film as well.
And even though I could afford the 718, I actually really need the back seats because that would have been my only car and I often travel with my family. Yes, even to car meets 🙂
My dream Porsche is the 991.2 GT3 with a manual transmission but the one I’m aiming to buy in a couple of years time is more realistic in terms of price: a Carrera S. But anyway, that’s not the point of this article. The point is the 70 years of Porsche celebrations.
I’ve attended the event held in Stockholm, Sweden at a very fancy place near the water and let me tell you that what I saw there was absolutely fantastic! From old to new, from motorway cruisers to track monsters, the event had it all.
And I’m not going to bore you any longer with words, I’m going to let you enjoy the video I shot of the cars outside the event and some pictures of the cars from inside. I don’t have any proper video of those because the lighting conditions were not that good for video.
Happy birthday Porsche!
